Polar Skate Co. was founded by Swedish skateboarding legend Pontus Alv, following his work with Cliché and Mad Circle in the early 2000s. After returning to Malmö in 2003, he focused on skate filmmaking and created Strongest of the Strange and In Search of the Miraculous. Drawing on this experience, he launched Polar Skate Co. around 2011.
